SOCAR Energy School Fourth Term Opening Ceremony and First Lecture Held in Aliağa

The opening ceremony and first class of the fourth term of the SOCAR Energy School certificate program, organized in collaboration between SOCAR Türkiye and Sabancı University's Executive Development Unit (EDU), took place on November 29, 2025, at SOCAR Türkiye's facilities in Aliağa.

This prestigious program, launched by SOCAR Türkiye, Türkiye's largest integrated industrial group, in collaboration with Sabancı University's Executive Development Unit (EDU), began with a ceremony held on November 29. At the opening ceremony, attended by 74 participants accepted into this year's program, SOCAR Türkiye Chief Communications and Government Relations Officer Mikayil Yusifov and Sabancı University Vice President for Research Mehmet Yıldız addressed the participants.

The opening speeches included assessments on the development of the energy sector, sustainability-focused transformation, and the contributions of the training program to the sector. Following the speeches, participants had the opportunity to observe the production processes firsthand during a field trip to SOCAR Türkiye's Refinery and Petrochemical facilities. Thanks to the briefings provided by technical teams, participants gained detailed information about refinery and petrochemical operations.

Mikayil Yusifov, Chief Communications and Government Relations Officer at SOCAR Türkiye, said, "We are proud to begin the fourth term of the SOCAR Energy School.
