Establishing and strengthening the concept of "corporate governance" is key to the sustainability of corporate assets.
By the Capital Markets Board's (CMB) meeting decision dated 10.12.2004 and numbered 48/1588, companies traded in Borsa Istanbul (BIST) must include their statements regarding compliance with Corporate Governance Principles in their annual reports and on their websites. In this context, as Petkim Board of Directors, we make great efforts to comply with the Corporate Governance Principles determined by the Capital Markets Board.
We are trying to comply with the "Corporate Governance Principles" published by the CMB at the highest level. 49% of our shares are open to the public. Above all, we aim to be the best in our country in the rights of our shareholders, public disclosure and transparency, the satisfaction of stakeholders, and responsibility towards society and the environment.
Our Board of Directors is extremely sensitive to the practices required by "good management", internalizing the Corporate Governance Principles and implementing them meticulously. In this direction, we prove the importance we attach to the subject by completing the CMB Corporate Governance Principles Compliance Rating.
