Our Sustainability Strategy
We are forward-ready with a robust sustainability strategy.
The petrochemical industry plays a key role in a sustainable life. With this belief, we take responsibility as one of the leading companies in the industry and put sustainability at the heart of our business model.
We shape our sustainability strategy, which we have created in line with SOCAR Türkiye's vision and goals, according to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Sustainability Principles Harmonization Framework determined by the Capital Markets Board (CMB), GRI standards, and stakeholder expectations.
Our social, economic, and environmental repercussions are continuously monitored and managed. We provide complete infrastructure and integration studies on energy efficiency in manufacturing, occupational health and safety, process safety, resource optimization, shift to renewable energy sources, and product quality enhancement.
We put people at the center of everything we do. We carry out our responsibilities to our stakeholders and society without compromising ethics, transparency, and honesty. We make every effort to protect the health and safety of our employees. We invest in social responsibility projects to enhance our social impact and benefit humankind.

We support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
To create sustainable value, we sign international protocols to fight climate change and actively participate in environmental studies. In this context, we are working on article 12, "Responsible Production and Consumption", and article 13, "Climate Action" of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
What we do?
We prevent the use of over 1 million kilograms of plastic by improving our method of managing plastic pallets thanks to our Zero Waste principle.
With the Green Port Certificate, which we have renewed for the seventh time, we are reducing environmental pollution and bringing health and safety at work to the highest level.
We have achieved considerable sustainability gains as a result of the social responsibility programs we have undertaken through the " Değer Benim" program.
Setting speed limitations in product packaging and storage areas helps us save an average of 2400 liters of fossil fuels each year, which helps us meet our energy efficiency goal.
Using electric vehicles in our on-site monitoring activities prevents an average of 828 kg of CO2 emissions annually.
